形态描述：缠绕草本，基部稍木质。茎幼时被贴伏长毛，后渐脱落变无毛。叶为羽状三出复叶；托叶小，近线形，长1.5毫米，渐尖，宿存；叶柄长7-10厘米，基部膨大，被贴伏柔毛；叶轴长l厘米；小叶纸质，卵状长圆形，顶生小叶长（5-）8-13厘米，宽（2-）4-5（-6.5）厘米，侧生小叶略小，先端极钝，有时微凹，基部圆形或稍心形，上面无毛，网脉明显，下面密被灰黄色短毛；侧脉每边8-10条，纤细，弧曲，达叶缘处消失；小托叶近线形，长1.5毫米；小叶柄长2-3毫米，密被柔毛。总状花序腋生，长10-15厘米，有时有1-2分枝，有倒向糙伏毛；花簇生，长12-14毫米；苞片兜状折叠，花后增大，长2.5-3.8厘米，有脉，外面无毛，内面被糙伏毛，每苞有花1.4朵；花梗短，长2-3毫米，被倒向糙伏毛；花萼外面被糙伏毛，5裂，上部2裂片全合生，三角圆形、近三角圆形，下部3裂片卵圆形，先端急尖；花冠白色，长约1厘米，近等长，旗瓣近圆形，瓣柄短，基部具明显的耳，翼瓣长圆形，具长耳，龙骨瓣近挺直，先端钝，具短耳；雄蕊二体，对着旗瓣的1枚雄蕊基部与旗瓣的瓣柄贴生；子房具短柄，基部有环状花盘，有不明显的槽，上部被短柔毛，具1胚珠。荚果卵形，长8毫米，宽约5毫米，先端急尖，被倒向贴伏毛，有网脉；种子1颗，肾形，长5毫米，宽约5毫米，棕色。花、果期9-11月。
